SUPREME COURT TURNS DOWN NORIEGA'S REQUEST TO STOP EXTRADITION

The Supreme Court has turned down the request of Manuel Noriega (the former dictator of Panama) to stop his extradition to France on money laundering charges. Noriega, who was previously convicted in the U.S. on money laundering charges, will now face charges in France.

The Supreme Court denial came without comment.
